Data deletion

You can ask Gengar Labs to delete your account and the personal data stored for it. We do not keep your data for marketing, and we delete it when you ask us to close the account.
Delete your account in the app
An in-app Delete account and data option is planned. When it is available, you will be able to remove your account, automations, contacts, uploaded files, and Instagram connection from Gengar Labs without emailing us. This page will be updated when that control is live.
Request deletion now
Until the in-app option is available, email info@gengarlabs.com from the address on your Gengar Labs account with the subject Delete my Gengar Labs account. Include:
- The email address you use to sign in.
- The Instagram username connected to the workspace, if you connected one.
- A short statement that you want your account and associated data deleted.
We will confirm the request and delete the data within 30 days. If we cannot match the request to an account, we will reply and ask for the missing detail.
What we delete
- Your user account, including name, email, phone number, Google sign-in link, and password hash.
- The Instagram connection, including the stored access token, Page identifiers, and webhook subscription state.
- Automations, templates you customized, automation sessions, and uploaded message images or cards.
- Contacts saved in your workspace, including Instagram usernames and any name, email, or phone you entered.
- Usage counters tied to your account.
Removing Gengar Labs access in Instagram or Facebook settings stops future access from Meta. To delete copies already stored in Gengar Labs, still send the request above or use the in-app deletion option once it is available.
What may remain
We may keep a minimal record that a deletion request was received and completed, if we need it to show that we honored the request. We do not keep message content, contacts, or tokens for marketing or for any later use of the product.
